JACKSON, Miss. - Union College improved to 3-4 on the year after posting a 3-1 win over Loyola (La.) University in the Belhaven (Miss.) College Tournament Saturday.

Union will face Evangel (Mo.) University Saturday evening at 8 p.m. in its final match of the two-day event.

Loyola took the first game 30-18, but Union rallied and won the next three sets 31-29, 30-23, 30-24 to pull out the victory.

Monica Moreland (Louisville, Ky.) had 34 assists and 17 digs in the win, while Brooke Vinovich (Somerset, Ky.) had 11 kills and nine blocks. Marlee Cooper (Bloomington, Ill.) helped out with 10 kills and six blocks with Autumn Combs (Florence, Ky.) also registering six blocks.

Defensively, Tracie Phillips (Bowling Green, Ky.) led Union with 26 digs with Christina Prindle (Florence, Ky.) and Sarah Alderson (Birmingham, Ala.) each had 20 and 14 digs, respectively.
