ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. - Union College wrapped up the cross country season Saturday at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship at Sycamore Shoals State Park in Elizabethton, Tenn. A freshman once again posted a personal best.
Bethany Bowlin (Barbourville, Ky.) covered the five-kilometer course in 22 minutes and 41 seconds. The time shaved 32 seconds off her previous personal best. The time placed her in 36th.
Brennan O'Quinn (Meadowview, Va.) needed 29:33 for the eight-kilometer men's race. He finished 41st.
Cody Miller (Middlesboro, Ky.) finished with a time of 31:02. Scotty Barnes (Ewing, Va.) added a run of 38:23.
Emily Yeager was the next Lady Bulldog across the finish line at the 26:09 mark. Eden Ellison competed in her first race of the season and finished in a time of 27:55.
Milligan won both the men's and women's championships.
