CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Union College opened the 2009 indoor track season with a host of impressive performances Friday at the Cedarville University Invitational.

Jessica Florence (Frankfort, Ky.) lowered her school record in the 55 meters after she finished in 8.54 seconds.

Freshman Emily Yaeger (Dry Ridge, Ky.) established the school record in the 400 meters with a run of 1:10.54.

Union travels to the Niswonger Invitational on Jan. 30 in Johnson City, Tenn. The two-day event will be inside Memorial Center at East Tennessee State University.
