BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Union College saw two records fall Saturday at the Hoosier Invitational contested in the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse at Indiana University.

Martika Willis (Clarksville, Tenn.) qualified sixth for the 60-meter dash finals and finished sixth in the finals. The freshman qualified thanks to a school-record 8.12 second run and ran an 8.13 in the finals. She added an eight-place finish in the 200 meters with a school-record time of 28.08.

Brittany Puryear (Somerset, Ky.) threw the shot put 25 feet and broke the school record. Jessica Florence (Florence, Ky.) leaped 13 feet and 3 inches in the long jump.

Union travels to the Akron Invitational next weekend in Akron, Ohio. The two-day event starts Friday.
