FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. - Union College recorded a 34th-place finish at the McKendree (Ill.) University Baker Challenge this weekend.
Union tallied a pinfall of 3,977 on Saturday and posted a score of 2,668 Sunday, finishing the 40 Baker games with a total of 6,645. The Bulldogs ended the tournament 34th out of 40 teams.
In the top five were University of Central Florida, Morehead State (Ky.) University, Wichita State (Kan.) University, Newman (Kan.) University and Lindenwood (Mo.) University.
Union had its highest scoring game in its first game of the weekend, rolling a 220. The Bulldogs also had a clean game - no open frames, all spares and/or strikes - in their next to last game.
Up next for Union is the Hoosier Classic in Bloomington, Ind., on Feb. 21-22.
