KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union College continues to be on the national radar as the Lady Bulldogs received a vote in the latest NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, which was announced Monday.

Union is tied with four other schools for 37th place as each received one vote.

The Lady Bulldogs are 18-8 overall and in a three-way tie for first in the Appalachian Athletic Conference with a 10-4 league mark.

Morningside (Iowa) received all 15 first place votes to remain No. 1 in the eighth Top 25 Poll. The Mustangs earned 405 total points.

The next six spots also remained the same. Shawnee State (Ohio) held its spot at No. 2 with 392 points and all 15 second place votes. Northwestern (Iowa) stayed at No. 3 with 274 points while No. 4 Davenport (Mich.) (369 points), No. 5 Ozarks (Mo.) (349 points), No. 6 Black Hills State (S.D.) (346 points) and No. 7 Sterling (Kan.) (327 points) all held their spots.

Cornerstone (Mich.) moved up a spot to No. 8 with 300 points. Concordia (Ore.) and Concordia (Neb.) both tied at No. 9 with 294 points.

The ninth regular season poll will be released on Monday, February 16.

Union will travel to Tennessee Wesleyan College Wednesday for a 5:30 p.m. tip.
