KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union College garnered one vote in the latest NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll despite going 1-1 last week.

Union (20-10 overall, 1206 Appalachian Athletic Conference) collected one vote to tie with six other for 37th place.

Top four teams held their spots in the NAIA Top 25 Poll.Morningside (Iowa) collected all 14 first place votes and received 374 points for the top spot.

Shawnee State (Ohio) held its spot at No. 2 with 362 points while Davenport (Mich.) remained at No. 3 with 350 points and Ozarks stayed at No. 4 with 338 points. Sterling (Kan.) moved up two spots to No. 5 with 320 points.

No. 6 Northwestern (Iowa) held its spot with 311 points. Dickinson State (N.D.) climbed five spots to No. 7 with 290 points while Concordia (Neb.) and Cornerstone (Mich.) each moved up a spot to No. 8 and No. 9 with 288 and 274 points respectively. Black Hills State (S.D.) rounded out the top-10 after dropping five spots to No. 10 with 253 points.

No. 23 Iowa Wesleyan and No. 24 Daemen (N.Y.) both moved into the top-25 this week.

The final top-25 poll will be released on Wednesday, March 4.

Union will open the AAC Tournament Thursday against Covenant (Ga.) College at 10:15 a.m. The tournament is being held in Bristol, Tenn.
