BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - No. 22 Union College played without two players, but the Lady Bulldogs emerged with a 6-3 home victory over Indiana Tech Sunday.

The win boosted Union's record to 4-1. Indiana Tech slipped to 5-5.

All four Lady Bulldogs won in straight sets during singles' play.

Union's last two matches have resulted in 6-3 wins. The Lady Bulldogs have lost 15 points this season and five were because Union was playing short handed.

The Lady Bulldogs open the Appalachian Athletic Conference season Wednesday when King (Tenn.) College visits for a 2 p.m. match.
