BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - No. 22 Union College opened the Appalachian Athletic Conference schedule with a 7-2 home win over King (Tenn.) College Wednesday.

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 5-1 overall with a 1-0 AAC record. King went to 1-1 in AAC play with an overall record of 2-3.

Camila Cunha (Sao Paulo, Brazil) returned with a 6-2, 6-0 No. 2 singles' victory. She teamed with Juliana Negosek (Curitiba, Brazil) for the No. 1 doubles' win behind an 8-1 score. The duo is 4-1 when teaming up this season.

Union moved to 26-0 against AAC foes which includes post-season play.

Next for the Lady Bulldogs is a trip to conference foe Tennessee Wesleyan College Friday for a 2 p.m. match.
