BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - No. 11 Union College picked momentum up Monday with a 9-0 win over Bluefield (Va.) College in an Appalachian Athletic Conference contest.

The Bulldogs improved to 9-0 overall and 3-0 in the conference. Bluefield went to 0-3 and all three matches have been against conference foes.

The sweep was the fifth in a row for the Bulldogs. Union has won eight straight conference matches via sweeps dating back to last season.

Union did not lose a set against Bluefield.

The two doubles' wins gave Union a 23-1 in doubles' play this season when the matches have been played.

Union will make the trip for a 3 p.m. conference match at UVa-Wise Thursday.
