WISE, Va. - No. 11 Union College won 9-0 Thursday at Appalachian Athletic Conference foe UVa-Wise for the Bulldogs' sixth straight 9-0 sweep of the season.

Union improved to 10-0 on the season and 4-0 in the conference. UVa-Wise went to 1-5 overall and 1-3 in AAC play.

Anthony Hill (Guayaquil, Ecuador), Juan Lorenzo (Barcelona, Spain) and Alvaro Vargas (Manizales, Columbia) remained undefeated in singles' play. Each of the three owns 10-0 records this season. Hill has won 12 straight regular-season matches.

Hill and Vargas teamed up for their 10th win in doubles' play.

All singles' matches were won in straight sets.

Union travels to Covenant (Ga.) College for a 3 p.m. conference tilt Tuesday. A win would clinch the regular season title for the Bulldogs.
