BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College added another standout from Northeast High School when Patrick Hanna signed to continue his soccer career with the Bulldogs.

Hanna, the Clarksville, Tenn. native was a four-year member of the varsity squad at Northeast. He joins Steve Young who signed last month.

Hanna plays as an outside midfielder. Union head coach Tyler Brock is excited to see Patrick grow within the program over the next four years.

Brock also added that Hanna will see some time at the top of the Union attack from time to time during his career.

Union finished the 2008 season with a 10-5-4 record including a 9-0-2 home record. The Bulldogs finished sixth in the Appalachian Athletic Conference behind a 3-3-1 record before losing in the quarterfinals after a shootout.
