
MONTREAT, N.C. - No. 5 Union College and Montreat (N.C.) College started their Appalachian Athletic Conference doubleheader Saturday at Montreat, however the game was postponed with the Bulldogs ahead in the fifth inning.
The Bulldogs (32-5 overall, 16-2 AAC) owned a 7-3 advantage in the top of the fifth inning.
Union will have to travel back to Montreat (20-15, 10-8 AAC) to complete the first game and play the second. The first game of the series went to Union behind a 9-7 score which pushed the Bulldogs' winning streak to 12 games.
No make-up date has been announced.
Union returns to action Monday at NCAA Division III foe Spalding (Ky.) University. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
