ATHENS, Tenn. - Both games of Union College's Appalachian Athletic Conference doubleheader at Tennessee Wesleyan College Tuesday had identical 3-2 scores with Union winning the opening contest then Tennessee Wesleyan taking game two.

After the day Union moved to 19-18 overall and 5-7 in conference play. Tennessee Wesleyan went to 4-6 in the AAC and 14-18 overall.

The game-one victory snapped Union's four-game losing streak.

Union travels on down the road to Covenant (Ga.) College for another conference doubleheader Wednesday. Action is scheduled to get underway at 3 p.m.

Lady Bulldog Notes

  • This is the third straight year in which Union split with Tennessee Wesleyan during the regular season.
  • In one-run games this season Union moved to 5-7.
  • Union's road record went to 6-6.
