BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - No. 22 Union College secured an undefeated Appalachian Athletic Conference season Thursday behind a 7-2 decision against Milligan (Tenn.) College. The Lady Bulldogs ran an unbeaten streak against conference foes to 31 matches with the win.

Union snapped a two-match skid with the win to improve to 11-3 overall with a conference record of 6-0.

Ximena Aguilar (Morelia, Mexico) kept Union's record in the AAC perfect when she won in No. 3 singles 6-2 and 6-0.

Katie Sakalauskas (Surrey, Canada) and Andressa Coelho (Santa Maria, Brazil) remained undefeated in singles' play as well. Sakalauskas went to 12-0 and Coelho owns a 11-0 record.

The Lady Bulldogs were playing with five players giving Milligan points in No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

Milligan went to 2-3 in the conference and 3-5 overall.  

Union wraps up the regular season Tuesday when University of the Cumberlands visits for a 3 p.m. match. The Lady Bulldogs opened the 2009 season with a 7-2 victory at the Cumberlands Feb. 25.
