KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union College moved up one position in the latest 2009 NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll, coming in at No. 9, the NAIA announced Tuesday.

The Bulldogs (14-0 overall, 6-0 Appalachian Athletic Conference) garnered 224 total points, 13 fewer than No. 8 Azusa Pacific (Calif.) and only four more than No. 10 Graceland (Iowa).

Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) remains No. 1. The Senators hold onto the top spot after receiving 12 first-place votes and 312 total points.

Coming in at No. 2 are the Lancers of California Baptist who received 293 points. Embry-Riddle (Fla.) is ranked third with 292 total points. Checking in at No. 4 is Fresno Pacific (Calif.) after receiving 291 total points. Rounding out the Top 5 is Concordia (Calif.). The Eagles earn 272 total points.

Union will next play in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament, which is set to begin Friday in Chattanooga, Tenn.
