
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College head women's basketball coach Tim Curry announced the dates for the 2009 Lady Bulldog Basketball Team and Individual Camps.
The fundamental skills camp for campers age 6 through high school seniors is scheduled for June 22-24. An elite clinic will be held July 18. Both camps will be conducted from 9 a.m. to noon inside Robsion Arena.
The fundamental camp cost $50 while the elite clinic is $30. Family discounts are available. Also included in camp cost is a t-shirt.
The camp curriculum is designed to be fun and challenging with an emphasis on fundamental instruction. Players will be grouped in similar age and skill groups for drills, instruction and team competition.
The elite clinic is designed to prepare players interested in playing at the collegiate level for their upcoming season.
The high school team camp for varsity and junior varsity squads will be June 8-9 with the middle school team camp July 13-14.
Curry just completed his eighth season at Union and ranks as the program's all-time winningest coach. He has guided Union to three NAIA Division II Women's Basketball national tournament births.
