
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Union College collected 23 Top-10 finishes in expert events over the weekend at Florida State University's event which included two wins by Bulldog riders.
Zach Winn (Port Hope, Canada) won the short track and individual time trial events. He was also second in the cross country race.
Rachel Millsop (Springdale, Ark.) was second in the time trial and cross country with a third-place rides in short track and the dual slalom.
In the short track race, Union had five of the top six riders. Behind Winn was the duo of Wesley Lamberson (Limestone, Tenn.) and Greg Gibson (Provo, Utah) in second and third, respectively. German Bermudez (Louisville, Ky.) and Brad Nelson (Carmel, Ind.) followed in fifth and sixth.
Bermudez finished second in the time trial. He was fourth in the cross country race and fifth in short track.
Gibson crossed the finish line third in short track, sixth in cross country and fourth in the time trial.
Nelson was Union's highest finisher in the dual slalom thanks to a fourth-place performance. He was also fifth in the time trial, sixth in short track and eighth in cross country.
Lamberson and Jonathan Turner (Harlan, Ky.) made it to the round of eight in the dual slalom. Lamberson added a sixth-place finish in the time trial while Turner was ninth in short track.
Justin Becker (Loveland, Ohio) added a tenth-place ride in the cross country race.
Union will travel to Lees-McRae (N.C.) this weekend.
