CINCINNATI, Ohio - A pair of Union College runners both broke 18 minutes in Saturday's Queen City Invitational hosted by the University of Cincinnati.

Daniel Kual (Stone Mountain, Ga.) once again led the Bulldogs by running 17:21 which was the 41st fastest time.

Eric Kinman (Erlanger, Ky.) was next at the 17:50 mark.

Cassy Kost (Owensboro, Ky.), the lone Lady Bulldog in the field, needed 24:35 to run the event which is the program's 11th fastest time.

Bradley Fieldhouse (Louisville, Ky.) and Marcus Rice (Batesville, Miss.) covered the course in times of 18:43 and 24:03, respectively.

The men's race was won by Northern Kentucky University's Drew Harris in 15:34 while the team crown went to Xavier (Ohio) University over Cincinnati. Melanie Price, who ran unattached, won the women's race after crossing the finish line in 19:22.

Both races were contested on a 5,000-meter layout.

Next for Union is the Berea College Invitational Saturday.
