CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Union College’s Kandy Hubbard broke her own school again at the First Cedarville University Cross Country Open on Saturday.

Hubbard (Hinkle, Ky.) lowered the record by two seconds with a time of 21 minutes and 34 seconds over the 5k course. Her time was good enough for a 35th place finish.

Union’s other runner, Jeanne Davis (Harrogate, Tenn.) came across the finish line with a time of 29:07.

Cedarville claimed the team with their score of 21 points, ahead of Baldwin-Wallace (Ohio) College by 26 points. Cedarville’s Lydia Wong took the individual title after she finished the course in 18:39.

Union's next race is the Wilmington Fall Classic on October 12.
