
KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Union College posted a third-place finish at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Fall Tournament after Tuesday's final round.
The Bulldogs fired a team score of 307 which could not improve Union's position entering the day. Tennessee Wesleyan College took home the team crown after a 299, two shots better than Milligan (Tenn.) College.
Union was led by Josh Dyer (Lexington, Ky.) with a 74. Jordan Hogue (Stanford, Ky.) added a 77 while Adam LaTulippe (Hamilton, Ohio) and Ben Schneider (Ft. Thomas, Ky.) carded rounds of 78.
These two rounds at the Fall AAC Championship will be combined with the spring event to crown the regular season AAC champion.
The tournament was played at the Cattails at Meadowview in Kingsport, Tenn. on a 6,704 yard Par-71 layout.
Union travels to the King College Invitational which starts Monday at the Country Club of Bristol (Tenn.).
