Season best runs for Union Cross Country

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Union College's Cassy Kost ran a personal best Saturday at the Greater Louisville Classic held at the E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park.

Kost (Owensboro, Ky.) posted a time of 23 minutes and 24 seconds over the 5,000-meter course. Her time also ranks ninth on Union's all-time list. She shaved 26 seconds off her previous best.

Eden Ellison (Tamms, Ill.) covered the course in 30:49.

On the men's side, Daniel Kual (Stone Mountain, Ga.) needed 28:14 for the 8,000-meter layout. The time was a season best for the senior.

Bradley Fieldhouse (Louisville, Ky.) returned to his hometown to run a personal best 30:41.

Next on the schedule is the Wilmington Fall Classic in Wilmington, Ohio, on Oct. 16.
