MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Union College suffered a second straight one goal loss, 1-0, Saturday, this time at No. 20 Auburn (Ala.) University Montgomery.
Amber Elam booted home the match's lone score 11:44 into the match.
The loss sent Union to 9-2 on the season while Auburn Montgomery went to 8-3.
Brittany Puryear (Somerset, Ky.) stopped 14 shots in goal for Union. In all, Auburn Montgomery had 28 shots compared to six for the Lady Bulldogs.
Union travels to play Appalachian Athletic Conference foe Montreat (N.C.) College Wednesday at 2 p.m.
