MONTREAT, N.C. - A 0-0 double overtime draw is how Union College's Appalachian Athletic Conference contest at Montreat (N.C.) College ended Wednesday.

The tie moved Union's record to 2-1-1 in league play and 7-3-1 overall. Montreat went to 5-6-1 overall with a 4-1-1 AAC record.

For the third straight meeting, Union and Montreat played two overtimes without a score. The previous two contests were last season, to end the regular season and in the AAC quarterfinals.

Union will play at Bluefield (Va.) College in another AAC contest Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Bulldog Notes

Union has a 1-0-1 record in overtime matches this season.
The Bulldogs were held scoreless for the first time in 2009. Union was shutout four times last season.
