BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College seeks to close out the home portion of its schedule with a win over visiting Shorter (Ga.) College Saturday.

Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. at Burch/Nau Field.

The Bulldogs are 3-0 at home this season and looking for their first undefeated season at home since the 1994 campaign. Union has also won its last six home contests and is 11-3 since installing the synthetic sports turf in 2007.

Union and Shorter each advanced to the NAIA Football Championship Series last year and had high hopes for this season. However, the two squads enter this week's game with identical 4-3 overall records.

This weekend's game is also Homecoming and Senior Day at Union.
