BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College made a clean sweep of the Appalachian Athletic Conference weekly awards as the Lady Bulldogs claimed all four honors, the league announced Monday.

Junior Monica Moreland (Louisville, Ky.) collected the AAC Player and Setter of the Week nods for the second week in a row, while junior Amanda Silva (Londrina, Brazil) and senior Brooke Vinovich (Somerset, Ky.) earned Libero and Hitter of the Week honors, respectively.

This marks the fourth time Moreland was named the AAC Player of the Week and the sixth time she earned Setter of the Week. This is Silva's fourth AAC Libero of the Week nod, and Vinovich's second Hitter of the Week award this season.

On the week, the Lady Bulldogs went 2-0 to improve their overall record to 22-3 and league mark to 13-1. Union is currently on a 15-game winning streak and 12 of its last 13 wins have been 3-0 sweeps.

Moreland averaged 12.23 assists per set last week, tallying 86 in seven sets played. She also totaled 10 kills, 17 digs, two total blocks and had a .410 hitting percentage.

On the year, Moreland has 877 assists with 265 digs, 66 kills and a .288 hitting percentage. In the 3-0 win over Milligan (Tenn.) College, she became the second player in program history to amass over 3,500 assists as she now has 3,520.

Silva racked up 52 total digs last week, posting 32 in the 3-0 sweep at Milligan. In addition to averaging 7.43 digs per set, she helped out with three service aces.

For the season, Silva has 450 digs and 47 aces to her credit.

Vinovich posted only a .275 hitting percentage, but she delivered 23 total kills and had two total blocks and four digs. In the 3-1 win over Bryan (Tenn.) College she became the third player in program history to reach the 1,300-kill plateau as she now has 1,320.

On the season, Vinovich leads the team with 184 kills and boasts a .297 hitting percentage.

Union returns to action Thursday when it plays host to King (Tenn.) College at 6:30 p.m.
