BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Nikki Jeck collected Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors after helping Union College to a 1-0-1 record last week, the league announced Monday.

The Lady Bulldogs tied NCAA Division II King (Tenn.) College 1-1 and edged conference rival Reinhardt (Ga.) College 2-1 to finish the regular season 14-2-1 overall and 7-0 in the regular season.

Jeck (Richmond, Ky.) recently joined the Lady Bulldogs after spending much of the season out with an injury. Playing in only her third collegiate game, she netted the game-winning goal over Reinhardt. The Lady Eagles tied the score at 1-1 in the 62nd minute, but Jeck responded quickly with a 12-yard shot to lift Union to the 2-1 decision.

The goal was her first collegiate tally.

Union is the AAC regular-season champion and will host the conference tournament semifinal and championship rounds on Nov. 13-14 at Burch/Nau Field. Game times and pairings have yet to be determined.
