CORBIN, Ky. – The Union College men’s golf team lost the 2007 UC vs. UC Challenge to the University of the Cumberlands by four shots on Friday. Union’s team score of 296 was not good enough as Cumberlands finished at 292 at the par-70, 5,798 yard Tri-County Country Club.

Mangus Lundberg (Stockholm, Sweden) led the Bulldogs with a three-over-par 73. A pair of sophomores, Adam LaTulippe (Hamilton, Ohio) and David Goscombe (Liverpool, England) both fired rounds of 74. Sam Lee (Knoxville, Tenn.) posted 75 to round out the team scoring.

The UC vs. UC Challenge marked the last event of the Fall season for Union.
