BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College men's swimming program announced it's signing of Timothy Edward Davis, Jr. today for the 2010-11 season.

Davis hails from Cleveland, Tenn. (Cleveland High School) where he had swam for two years with the Cleveland Aqua Tigers.

While swimming for the Aqua Tigers, Davis earned the most improved player honor in both his junior and senior seasons.

Davis also spends a bulk of his time at the Family Life Center where he works as a Lifeguard and a Sports Helper in his spare time.

"I really want to win. I plan on working hard to become the best I can be and to help Union win while I am here." Davis also went on to say, "I think Coach Rafael Forti has built a very strong program at Union and will be able to help me achieve great things in the next four years."

On Davis's signing coach Forti commented, "I am happy to have Tim joining our group. He will bring in more depth to our sprint freestyle events, and I know he still has a lot of potential to be explored."

Davis plans on majoring in Recreation or Sports Management.
