BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College men's swimming program announced today the signing of Dylan Willis to its program for the 2010-11 season.

Willis, a Knoxville, Tenn. native and four year member of the Farragut High School swimming program, will be bringing nine years of experience with him to the Bulldogs swimming program.

While at Farragut High, Willis placed fifth at state, as a part of the 200 free relay team and was also a member of the Atomic City Aquatic Club.

"I am excited to have a student-athlete of Dylan's caliber attending Union next year" commented head coach Rafael Forti. "He brings in many years of experience in competitive swimming and that will help him make the transition from high school to college. I expect him to help right away especially on middle distance and long distance events."

Willis shares Forti's excitement, stating, "swimming at Union will be a great experience for me. It will be nice to be a part of the Bulldog family."

Dylan plans on majoring in pre-physical therapy.
