BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – The Union College men’s soccer team suffered a 3-0 Appalachian Athletic Conference loss against the visitors from King (Tenn.) College Sunday.

With the results, Union moves to 7-7-1 overall and 0-5-1 in the conference while King holds a 4-3 conference record and a 6-8-1 overall mark.

Igor Slisko scored King’s first and third goal and was credited with the assist on the Tornado's second goal. His first score came in the 18th minute and the final goal was registered at the 74 minute mark. In between, Dean Hughes recorded King's second goal in the 56th minute.

Hughes assisted Slisko on his final goal and Mitchell Thomas got credit for the assist on the opening goal.

Union attempted ten shots, three on goal while ten of King’s 16 shots were on goal.

The Bulldogs’ Jonathan Shaw (Merseyside, England) recorded seven saves and King’s Warren Beck stopped three Union shots.

Next for the Bulldogs is their final AAC contest at Montreat (N.C.) College Wednesday at 4 p.m.
