BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Union College women's soccer player Ashley Hall has been named to the 2010 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District team. Hall earned a third-team selection in the College Division of District 4.

Hall (Hazard, Ky.), a senior, earns the All-District honor for the second time in her career, as she was named to the All-District second-team in 2008. Hall is the fifth Lady Bulldog in program history to earn the honor.

Hall has had a successful season on the pitch for Union, leading the offensive attack for the Lady Bulldogs, who finished 11-6 overall on the year (5-1 in the AAC) and shared a piece of the AAC Regular Season Championship for the second straight season.

On the year, Hall has scored a conference-best 18 goals on the year. That mark is also the 12th best in the entire NAIA. Hall has also scored four game-winning goals on the season.

The Union women's soccer team open the 2010 AAC Tournament as the number-two seed and will host seventh-seeded Montreat on Saturday at Burch-Nau Field in quarterfinal action. Kickoff is set for 12 noon.
