BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Union College men's track & field athletes Jaquan Holland and Andrew Johnston swept the Appalachian Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors the league announced Monday. Holland won the Track Athlete of the Week for the third straight week, while Johnston earned Field Athlete of the Week honors.

Holland (Long Island, N.Y.), a freshman, swept the 100 and 200 meter dashes at a meet for the third straight week, winning the events at the University of the Cumberlands Invitational on Saturday. He won the 100m dash with a time of 10.80, then captured the 200m after crossing the finish line in 21.92.

Johnston (Benton, Ky.), a sophomore, earned the Athlete of the Week honors after finishing second in the pole vault at the Cumberlands Invite. Johnston posted a clearance of 12 feet, 11.50 inches to earn the second place finish.

The Union men's track and field team returns to action this week at the Tennessee Sea Relays in Knoxville, Tenn.
