BRISTOL, Tenn. - Freshman Aaron Dunaway and junior Chris Stunson were Union College's lone representatives on the various Appalachian Athletic Conference All-Conference Teams, the league announced Wednesday.
Dunaway, a guard from Lexington, Ky., earned a spot on the AAC All-Freshman Team. He led the Bulldogs in scoring with a 14.1 point-per-game average. Dunaway also averaged 3.70 rebounds per game while dishing out 55 assists and 16 steals.
Stunson, a guard from Richmond, Ky., landed on the AAC All-Defensive Team, marking the second year in a row he's received the honor. He averaged 9.21 points and 2.90 rebounds per game to go along with his team-high 69 assists. Stunson had 27 steals and six blocked shots to his credit.
Union (12-18 overall, 6-12 AAC) opens conference tournament play Thursday against Montreat (N.C.) College at 12 p.m. in Bristol, Tenn.
