BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union men's basketball team will play Big Blue All-Stars - a team consisting of former University of Kentucky basketball players, on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Pulaski County High School, and fans can pre-order tickets Wednesday and Thursday at the Union Department of Athletics.
"We are extremely excited about this opportunity for our men's basketball program," said Union Interim Director of Athletics Tim Curry. "Not only will this bring great exposure to the team, but it will also put our entire athletic department in the spotlight.
"We are certainly grateful to Jeff Sheppard for giving us this opportunity to play against these former Kentucky Wildcats," he continued. "A good number of our players grew up Kentucky basketball fans, and I am sure this is a dream come true for them to have the chance to be on the same court as them."
