ATHENS, Tenn. - Four Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures in collecting Union's first victory of the 2011-12 season with a 75-60 decision over Alice Lloyd (Ky.) Saturday in the Tennessee Wesleyan College Classic.

Kara Pile (Fairdale, Ky.) led the way with 23 points to give her 902 career points. She is the 18th player in program history to score 900 or more in a career.

Fellow senior Courtney Thomas (Glasgow, Ky.) followed with 15 points, while Alyson Roberts (Baxter, Tenn.) and Lindsey Waters (Stearns, Ky.) added 11 points and 10 points, respectively. Waters nearly posted her second double-double of the season as he grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

The Lady Bulldogs owned 33-23 lead at the half before outscoring the Lady Eagles 42-37 during the second half to complete the 75-60 victory.

For Alice Lloyd (0-5 overall), Ariel Nickell led the way with 26 points with Gemma Gray knocking in 18 points.
