Men's Cross Country - Sat, Nov. 17, 2007

KENOSHA, Wis. - Senior Brandon Kibert ended his cross country career at Union College with a 145th-place finish Saturday at the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championship contested onthe Dr. Wayne E. Dannehl Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wis.

Kibert (Tazewell, Tenn.) covered the 8k course with a time of 26 minutes and 34 seconds. He was one of 258 runners to complete the race.

This marked the first time a Bulldog has competed in the NAIA Cross Country Championship since the program was reinstated in 2004.

Malone (Ohio) College captured the team championship with 59 points and Black Hills State (S.D.) University was second. Aron Rono from Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University claimed the individual championship after he covered the course with a time of 23:52.

Kibert will now turn his attention to the indoor track season. Union's first event, the Niswonger Invitational, is scheduled on January 18 and 19 in Johnson City, Tenn.
