BARBOURVILLE, Ky.Andy Blevins, a standout from Conner High School, has signed to play his collegiate soccer at Union College.

Blevins scored seven goals and added two assists in his senior season.

This is the second straight year Union head coach Tyler Brock has signed a player from his alum mater joining Tyler Baker, a freshman on this year’s squad.

“He showed well at his tryout dates when he came down to visit Union,” Brock said. “I am excited to see what he can bring to the team.”

Brock is also proud to sign a player from Conner. “Any time I get to go back to the high school I graduated from and sign a player, it’s a good day.”

Union finished 2007 with a 10-7-1 record, the most wins since the 2001 team won 16 matches.
