BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union football team will go for its third win of the season on Saturday when the Bulldogs play host to Mid-South Conference newcomers, th Bluefield (Va.) Rams.
Bluefield is 0-5 and 0-2 in the MSC West, while Union is 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the MSC East.
This is the Rams first season as an intercollegiate program since 1941. Union and Bluefield had played twice way before both institutions dropped the sport during World War II. Bluefield won both previous matchups, winning 32-6 in 1926 and 32-0 in 1927.
