ROME, Ga. - The Union College men's and women's cross country teams took part in the Viking Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
For the women's team, freshman Shelby Harp posted the team's highest finish, crossing the finish line in 26:44 in the 6k course to place 64th overall. Other finishers for the women's team included Cassy Kost, who finished in 27:30 to place 79th, and Danielle Jasiewicz, who finished in 35:06.
For the men, Bradley Fieldhouse was the high finisher in 72nd, runing the 8k course in 30:48. The only other Bulldog to compete was Danny Trauth, who finished in 51:57.
In other news related to the program, former cross country runner Eric Kinman won today's Daniel Boone Festival Four-Miler in Barbourville, finishing in 21:21.
The Union College cross country teams return to action on Oct. 20 at the Southern Classic in Berea, Ky.
