ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference will host its annual men's and women's basketball media day on Thursday, Oct. 18, and fans can follow along live online, the league announced.

The event will be held at the MeadowView Marriott Convention Center & Resort in Kingsport, Tenn., the site of the 2013 AAC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments.

All nine men's basketball coaches and all 10 women's basketball coaches in the league will be on hand to preview their teams, and the 2012-13 AAC Coaches' Preseason Polls will be unveiled as well.

The event will be broadcast live online, and can be viewed by clicking here.

If you miss the event or are unable to watch the media day, it will be archived for viewing at your leisure.

Last season, Tennessee Wesleyan won both the men's and women's basketball regular-season championships with the Bulldogs winning the men's conference tournament as well. Union defeated Tennessee Wesleyan in the women's championship game to capture the tournament crown.

Both Tennessee Wesleyan squads as well as Union women's team representing the AAC at the NAIA Division II National Championship Tournaments.
