BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College men's soccer team scored six times in each half, on their way to a 12-2 victory over Cincinnati Christian (Ohio) on Tuesday at soggy Burch/Nau Field. The match was the regular season finale for the Bulldogs.

With the victory, UC finished the regular year with a 7-8-2 overall record. Cincinnati Christian fell to 2-12-1 with the loss.

In the first half, the Bulldogs scored at will, opening a 6-0 lead after the first 45 minutes. Cole Bray got the scoring rolling in the seventh minute, scoring off a Tom Bayliss assist to make it 1-0. Bayliss then scored off a Bray assist about a minute later, making the score 2-0, UC. 

In the ninth minute, Jacob Dukes scored to make it 3-0, which was followed by a Cincinnati Christian own goal in the 10th minute that made it 4-0. Bray added his second goal of the period in the 11th minute to make it 5-0, and the final goal of the half was scored in the 38th minute by Jordan Johnson (off an assist from Brian Chapman), making it 6-0 UC at intermission.

In the second half, it was more of the same, with Union scoring six more goals. Jonathan Watson scored back-to-back goals in the 52nd and 57th minutes that made the score 8-0, while Ashton Johnson scored in the 58th minute to make it 9-0. After CCU finally got on the scoreboard later in the 58th minute, Jordan Johnson scored his second goal of the afternoon in the 61st minute to make it 10-1, UC.

The final two goals of the game for the Bulldogs were scored by Brad Seiter in the 66th minute, and Alfie Caruso in the 75th minute, making it 12-1 Union. CCU scored the game's final goal in the 84th minute.

Overall, Union outshot Cincinnati Christian 34-14. In net, freshman Adrian Frazier saw he majority of time between the pipes for the Bulldogs, and made six saves in over 70 minutes of work.

The Bulldogs now head into the 2012 AAC Tournament as the number-six seed. They will travel to Tennessee Wesleyan for a quarterfinal matchup on Saturday, which is set to start at 2:30 p.m.
