BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union women's basketball team will begin Appalachian Athletic Conference play Wednesday when it plays host to St. Andrews (N.C.) at 5:30 p.m.
This is the first home game for the Lady Bulldogs (5-2 overall) since Nov. 6 as they recently completed a four-game road trip. Union is fresh off a 107-87 win at Asbury (Ky.). Senior Lindsey Waters scored a season-high 31 points with freshman Lydia Nash coming off the bench to add 18. In all, five Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures.
For St. Andrews, this will be its first-ever AAC contest as the Lady Knights recently joined the league. St. Andrews is 1-5 on the year and currently on a four-game losing streak.
