BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College swimmer Tanya Eustrom has been named the Appalachian Swimming and Diving Conference's Women's Swimmer of the Week for the period ending Jan. 14, the league announced today.

Eustrom, a junior, led the Lady Bulldogs to dual meet victories against Bethel (Tenn.) and West Virginia Tech last Saturday in the squad's first meet of 2013.

In all, Eustrom won two individual events on the afternoon, capturing the 200-free with a time of 2:18.14 and the 100-free in 57.67. She also helped the Lady Bulldogs win the 200-free relay with a split  of 26.07 in route to a time of 1:48.17, and also anchored the 200-medley relay with a split of 26.66 in route to a time of 1:57.89. 

Eustrom and the rest of the Union women's swimming team returns to action on Friday, traveling to Milligan (Tenn.) for a meet against the host Buffaloes and Lindsey Wilson. Action gets underway at 6 p.m.
