BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College men's swimming coach Rafael Forti has announced that Bradley Moore, a native of Altona, Melbourne, Australia, has signed his National Letter of Intent to Join the Bulldog program next Fall.

Moore, who plans to swim long distance freestyle and backstroke at UC, was a National Medalist in several events in his native Australia. A product of the Maribyrnong College and the Melbourne Vicentre Swimming Club, has won the Victorian Secondary School Swimmer of the Year award during his competitive career.

"I am happy to be able to bring a swimmer of Bradley's caliber on to our program," said Forti. "He comes from, arguably, the best distance swimming school in the world, and has been exposed to competitive training and swimming his entire life. I am really looking forward to seeing Bradley leading our young, yet very talented distance swimming group that we will have on this new freshmen class this coming fall."

Moore, the son of Andrew and Helen Moore, plans to major in Sport Management and Business Administration at Union College when he enrolls in the Fall.

The Union College men's swimming team opens action at the 2013 NAIA Championships in Oklahoma City, Okla. later this week, with action starting on Wednesday.
