BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College women's soccer coach Camila Mendes has announced that Brittany Gantz has signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Lady Bulldog program this fall.

Gantz, a midfielder and defender, will join the Union program after prepping at Dundee Crown High School in her native Carpentersville, Ill.

"We are thrilled to add Brittney to our team," said Mendes. "She is very composed on the ball and hard working. Her technique, work rate, vision, and creativity will make her an instant impact in our team."

At Dundee Crown, Gantz was a starter on the girls soccer team for four year, earning All-Tournament honors this past season. Gantz also clubbed with Sports Club United based out of Schaumburg, Ill., where she has started on the "A" team since 2001.

The Lady Bulldogs, members of the NAIA and the AAC, posted a 11-6-1 overall mark in 2012.
