BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – The group of Mollie Messmer, Kristina Kirk, Eden Ellison and Kelli Rogers are a part of all five of Union College’s Top-20 relay teams, as announced by the NAIA Wednesday.

The highest ranking for the quartet is No. 13, in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of nine minutes and 27.93 seconds.

Two more freestyle rankings come in the 200 and 400 events. The 200 is the higher ranked time, a 1:53.05, which is No. 18, and the 400 time of 4:21.28 is the 19th best time.

The other two top times come are in the 200 and 400 medley events. The 400 time of 4:49.19 is the higher ranked of the two, at No. 17, followed by the No. 19 ranked time of2:06.35 in the 200.

Messmer (Scott, City, Mo.), Ellison (Tamms, Ill.) and Rogers (Elizabethtown, Ky.) are all sophomores while Kirk (Versailles, Ky.) is the lone freshman on the roster.

The Bulldogs’ next meet is on Jan. 26 when Union travels to Centre (Ky.) College for a tri-meet along with Asbury (Ky.) College.
