BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Twentieth-ranked Union College continues to be ranked among the best in National Association Intercollegiate of Athletics (NAIA) Division II and Appalachian Athletics Conference women's basketball, according the NAIA-DakStats website.

Union (13-5 overall, 6-1 AAC) rates in the Top-25 in six categories nationally while two individuals rank in the Top-25 in five different categories.

Here is where the Lady Bulldogs stand in the NAIA:

  • No. 2 in Field-Goal Percentage (.483);
  • No. 4 in Scoring Offense (84.778);
  • No. 9 in 3-Point Field-Goal Percentage (.379;
  • No. 11 in 3-Pointers Made Per Game (8.056);
  • No. 11 in Assists Per Game (18.222);
  • No. 25 in 3-Point Field-Goal Percentage Defense (.282).
Here is where individual Lady Bulldog rate in the NAIA:
  • Brooke Smith (Pineville, Ky.) is No. 2 in Points Per Game (24.824); No. 8 in Field-Goal Percentage (.566) and No. 21 in Blocks Per Game (1.882);
  • Allison Fowler (Morganfield, Ky.) is No. 20 in Steals Per Game (2.941) and No. 23 in Free-Throw Percentage (.838)

  • Steals - Fowler is No. 1 (2.94);
  • Total Rebounds - Smith is No. 6 (7.28);
  • Blocks - Smith is No. 2 (1.88);
  • Assists - Fowler is No. 4 (4.00); Ashley Lunsford (Orlando, Ky.) is No. 6 (3.39) and Carley Blankenship (Lexington, Ky.) is No. 7 (3.28);
  • Assist/Turnover Ratio - Blankenship is No. 6 (1.26) and Lunsford in No. 7 (1.22);

Union returns to action Saturday when it plays host to Bryan (Tenn.) College at 4 p.m. in Appalachian Athletic Conference play.
