LONDON, Ky. - The Union women's golf team carded a fifth-place finish at the SEKI-Mid-South Spring Invitational, held at Crooked Creek Golf Club in London, Ky.

The Lady Bulldogs fired a two-day tally of 716, putting them 10 strokes back of fourth-place Madonna (Mich.). Host Cumberlands (Ky.) won the nine-team event with a final score of 648. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) was second at 663, while Cumberland (Tenn.) claimed third with a 680.

Brittany Zins (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Sydney Smith (Greensburg, Ky.) paced Union as both fired a two-day total of 177 to tie them for 21st place. Katie Nusz (Mt. Washington, Ky.) placed 26th with a 180, and Ashley Buxton (Canada) landed 28th by shooting a 182.

Cumberland's Katie Legge took top individual honors by sporting a 157.

Union returns to action on April 8-9 at the Bulldog Spring Invitational at Wasioto Winds Golf Course in Pineville, Ky.
