BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College senior linebacker Patrick O'Neal was named to the Victory Sports Network's 2007 NAIA Football All-American Second Team, the national publication announced Monday.
This marks the second year in a row that O'Neal (Lula, Ga.) made the VSN All-American Second Team.
Joining O'Neal on the VSN All-American Team are senior quarterback Joey Waters (McDonough, Ga.) and junior wide receiver Kyle Callahan (Covington, Ky.), both of whom were honorable mentions. Waters is also a repeat honoree, having been an honorable mention on the 2005 squad which was also the last time Union had multiple players make the squad.
O'Neal had a record-setting season for the Bulldogs.
